The broadcast of Gala of Festival of Primavera, held on February 16, served as the ultimate stage for the Asian robotics industry’s show of strength. Durante the event, Songyan Power presented its humanoid models in a complex performance that involved acrobatics and scenic interactions alongside the actress Cai Ming. The exhibition, which included highly difficult movements such as somersaults and pirouettes, consolidated the company’s technology in front of a wide audience.

The company’s founder, Jiang Zheyuan, highlighted the stability of the equipment during the live broadcast, a critical factor for the success of the presentation. The comedy sketch, focused on the distinction between a “real and false grandson”, used several models, including the robot Bumi, two N2 units, and a modified version of the E1. Precise coordination between machines and human performers has strengthened the ability of control algorithms in high-pressure situations.

In addition to the artistic performance, the event served as a technological showcase for the humanoid robotics sector, which is experiencing a period of accelerated expansion. Outras relevant companies in the Chinese scene, such as Unitree Robotics, MagicLab and Galbot, also took advantage of the moment to demonstrate advances in mobility and dexterity, signaling an increasingly competitive and mature market.

Technical challenges and precision behind the scenes

Preparing for the show required a rigorous testing regime from the Songyan Power engineering team. Nos initial tests, the prototypes presented crude behaviors that required fine adjustments to avoid any failure during national broadcast. Tolerance for technical errors in an event of this magnitude is practically non-existent, which has increased tension behind the scenes.

To ensure fluid movement, the developers intensively iterated on the dance and motor control algorithms. The preparation cycle involved more than 300 code updates, specifically focused on coordinating jumps and pirouettes. Jiang Zheyuan reported working days that lasted until dawn on the eve of the final presentation, aiming for perfection in the execution of dynamic maneuvers.

Innovation with bionic replicas and real expressions

One of the highlights of the presentation was the unveiling of a bionic humanoid robot, designed as an exact replica of a real person. Esta technology represented a significant advance in relation to conventional models, requiring the development of advanced synthetic skin and facial micro-expression systems. Lip synchronization, essential for verisimilitude during speeches, was achieved through 12 dedicated motors in the mouth region, operating with millisecond precision.

The demand for high definition in television broadcasts drove the need for an impeccable visual finish, accelerating the company’s internal development. Under the direction of Songyan Power, investments in bionic robots will be intensified throughout this year, prioritizing basic research and the subsequent commercialization of these technologies that bring machines closer to human appearance.

Commercial strategy and international expansion

Given the visibility gained at the festival, the company plans a strategic change in its business model, migrating from a passive sales stance to a proactive approach. The initial focus covers the Chinese domestic market, especially in the basic education (K-12) and domestic consumption sectors. Competitive advantage is based on cost-benefit ratio, exemplified by the Bumi model, which uses materials such as fiberglass to reduce the final price to the consumer.

  • Focus on exporting to América from Norte, Europa and Oriente Médio.
  • Strategic expansion in Asian markets such as Japão and Coreia from Sul.
  • Search for international certifications to accelerate entry into new countries.
  • Target of delivering thousands of units in the second quarter of the year.

On the global stage, the company targets “prosumers”: professional consumers and technology enthusiasts. Inventory management and supply chain protection have been strengthened to ensure continuous supply in line with forecasted demand. The company believes that quality for the consumer should not be synonymous with high costs, but rather with accessibility with reliable performance.

Growth of the sector and fierce competition

The humanoid robot market is experiencing an exponential growth phase, with global shipments registering a notable increase in the last year. Dados of specialized consultancies indicate an increase of more than 500% in 2025, with even more optimistic projections for the current cycle. China leads this movement, with local manufacturers competing for technological and commercial primacy in a kind of “knockout tournament”.

Competition in the sector is no longer just about isolated technical demonstrations and has started to focus on financial metrics and commercial viability. Investidores and the capital market are increasingly paying attention to concrete indicators of performance and scalability. Para Jiang Zheyuan, the real barrier is no longer the technology itself, but the ability to collect high-quality data to train the artificial intelligence of robots.

Future vision and domestic integration

Longer term, the industry’s vision is for humanoid robots to become as ubiquitous as cars or smartphones. The functional evolution of these machines should transform them from simple companions into complete domestic assistants, capable of carrying out complex tasks and managing purchases. Integration with e-commerce and family routines represents a potential trillion-dollar market.

Songyan Power is positioning itself for this technological marathon, aware that the “ChatGPT moment” for physical robotics depends on the maturation of data and simulation factories. Participation in Gala of Festival of Primavera was just the starting point of a dispute that will define which companies will definitively enter homes around the world.
