The international expansion of the Nubia line of mobile devices was made official with the confirmation of the launch of RedMagic 11 Air for the Western market. The presentation event, which will reveal commercial details and availability of the product outside of Ásia, is scheduled for January 29th. The company’s strategy aims to meet the growing demand for high-performance hardware in a more affordable and portable form factor.
The announcement arouses the interest of consumers looking to combine raw power with a less robust design than traditional models in the category. The expectation is that the technical specifications, praised during its debut in the original market, will be fully maintained in the global version, positioning the device as a competitive option in the premium segment.
The launch will be broadcast via the brand’s digital platforms, allowing the public to follow information on prices and distribution logistics in real time. Embora the date of sale in Brazilian retail still depends on import and approval processes, the manufacturer’s history points to a possible arrival in the country in the months following the global event.

The device’s performance is ensured by the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a component designed to support intense workloads and execution of complex software. The hardware set also includes the proprietary RedCore R4 chip, responsible for the specific management of audio resources, haptic feedback and lighting, relieving the main processor during prolonged use sessions.
To ensure fluidity when switching applications and running heavy games, the system offers robust memory configurations. Users will be able to count on options that reach up to 16 GB of RAM, complemented by internal storage using UFS 4.1 technology, with a maximum capacity of 512 GB, which significantly reduces data loading time.

One of the most relevant technical differences of the model is the implementation of a 7,000 mAh battery, a capacity rarely found in smartphones with reduced thickness. The device’s engineering made it possible to accommodate this power cell in a body just 7.8 millimeters thick and with a total weight of 207 grams, defying current ergonomic standards for phones aimed at gamers.
The recharging system also received special attention, with support for 120 W fast charging.

The visual interface features a 6.85-inch OLED panel, which offers a resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels. The 144Hz refresh rate provides extremely fluid image transitions, essential for fast-action games. The immersion is enhanced by the under-screen camera technology, which hides the 16 MP front sensor, eliminating cutouts that could obstruct the view.
