The executive aviation market witnessed a new high-luxury movement with the acquisition of the Bombardier Global 6500 by the Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo. Avaliada at approximately R$309 million, the aircraft establishes a new level of exclusivity and surpasses, in terms of value and technical specifications, the Dassault Falcon 900LX model used by the Brazilian player Neymar.
The price difference between the machines is around R$60 million, whereas the Neymar jet has an estimated value of R$250 million. Embora Both aircraft are status symbols and essential tools for the logistics of elite athletes, the chosen configurations reflect different priorities regarding autonomy and operational capacity to fulfill global agendas.
Performance and technical specifications
The model acquired by Cristiano Ronaldo stands out for the power of the Rolls-Royce Pearl 15 engines, which allow it to reach a speed of Mach 0.90. Essa robust configuration offers a flight range of 12,223 kilometers, ideal for long non-stop journeys, such as direct trips between the European continent and Ásia.
In comparison, the Falcon 900LX of Neymar operates with three engines and focuses on efficiency and safety, achieving a cruising speed of Mach 0.87. The maximum range of the Brazilian’s aircraft is 8,890 kilometers, which is sufficient for transatlantic crossings, but inferior to the long-haul capacity offered by the Portuguese competitor’s jet.
Internal capacity and comfort
In addition to performance, the internal space also presents significant differences between the two luxury models. The Bombardier Global 6500 was designed to transport up to 17 passengers in extreme comfort, including a private suite and 4K entertainment systems, ensuring the necessary rest for the athlete and his family during travel.
The Neymar aircraft holds 14 people and is praised in the industry for its stability and cabin silence, fundamental characteristics for physical recovery. The maintenance and operation of these aircraft require highly specialized teams, reinforcing the boom in the private aviation market aimed at individuals who seek to optimize their time and guarantee privacy.
