Huawei globally launched the Mate 80 Pro, marking the return of the Mate series to the international market after years of focusing on Chinese territory. The presentation event took place at Madrid, at Espanha, on February 26, 2026, where the company highlighted the smartphone as a premium proposition with an emphasis on camera, autonomy and resistance. The Este model arrives as the only variant of the Mate 80 family available outside the China initially, leaving the standard, Pro Max and RS Ultimate versions exclusive to the domestic market.

The structure combines second generation Kunlun glass with reinforced nylon fiber, which increases resistance to falls by up to five times compared to previous models in the line.
