The Tesla announced this Thursday (27) the launch of the seven-seat version of the Model Y in the European market. The model maintains the updated external design of the refresh Juniper and incorporates the third row with two forward-facing folding seats. Access is via buttons in the second row, which allow the side seats to slide and fold. Cargo capacity remains competitive, with 381 liters behind the third row, enough for hand luggage or essential items even with all occupants on board.
The Tesla positions this configuration as a practical solution for those who occasionally need to transport more passengers. The vehicle preserves the standard equipment of the Premium version, including the Autopilot as a standard item and technical preparation for the Full Self-Driving Supervised, subject to future regulatory approvals in each country.
Third row details and easy access
The third row offers two individual seats with adequate headroom thanks to the raised roof in the rear. Passengers have USB-C ports for charging devices. The electric folding system makes entry and exit easier, making use more convenient compared to previous configurations.
Rear cabin comfort includes ambient lighting and premium finishes. The second row has independent controls for climate and entertainment.
Cargo space and interior versatility
With all seven seats occupied, the Model Y offers 381 liters in the rear trunk and 116 liters in the front trunk. When folding down the third row, the volume increases to 894 liters, ideal for transporting larger objects such as prams or sports equipment. Maximum capacity reaches 2,094 liters with the rear rows folded down.
The electrical design allows for a flat floor and high modularity. Essa feature reinforces the SUV’s position in the electric family vehicle segment.

Interior and technology maintained to a high standard
The cabin follows the premium standard of the current line, with a 16-inch central screen for vehicle control and navigation. The second row has a dedicated 8-inch screen for entertainment, games and climate adjustments, as well as support for individual Bluetooth headphones. The panoramic sunroof contributes to a greater feeling of internal spaciousness.
The finishes use soft materials and adjustable ambient lighting. The focus remains on the user experience with intuitive interfaces and over-the-air updates.
Outstanding performance and autonomy
The Premium Long Range AWD version delivers acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The 600 km range in the WLTP cycle allows long journeys with minimized recharging at Supercharger stations. All-wheel drive improves grip in varying road conditions.
The vehicle is designed for high energy efficiency. The battery supports the additional weight without significantly compromising range.
Price and availability on the European market
The seven-seater Model Y Premium starts at 55,490 euros on the Espanha, an increase of 2,500 euros compared to the five-seater version. In other markets like Alemanha, the value starts from similar values after processing fees. Inclui Autopilot standard and ready for advanced autonomous driving features.
The first deliveries will take place from April 2026. Production at Gigafábrica of Berlim guarantees rapid supply to the continent.
