The North American electric vehicle manufacturer has officially expanded its portfolio on the European continent with the launch of a seven-seat configuration for its most popular SUV. Produzido directly on the Gigafactory of Berlim, the new model arrives in the Premium Long Range version, equipped with all-wheel drive and a high capacity battery. The vehicle promises to meet the demand for sustainable family transport, offering an estimated range of 600 kilometers in the WLTP cycle, which positions it competitively in the segment.

Orders have already been opened in strategic markets, including Espanha, Alemanha,

To accommodate the two additional passengers, the vehicle’s engineering made significant adaptations to the use of internal space. Access to the third row was facilitated by a system of buttons located on the backrests of the second row, which allow the lateral seats to be slid and folded quickly. Mesmo at maximum occupancy, the trunk offers 381 liters of capacity, enough volume for everyday essentials.

Versatility and internal comfort

The internal configuration was designed to guarantee real usability of the third row, which has individual seats and optimized vertical space thanks to the high ceiling at the rear of the vehicle. Occupants of these extra seats have dedicated USB-C ports for charging mobile devices, ensuring connectivity throughout the journey. The electric folding system makes entry and exit easier, making the experience more fluid compared to traditional manual adaptations.

Comfort in the rear cabin is complemented by an adjustable ambient lighting system and superior quality finishes, in line with the category’s premium standard. The second row of seats maintains its independence, with exclusive controls for the climate control system and access to entertainment features, providing a pleasant journey for all passengers.

In terms of load capacity, versatility is one of the strengths of this model, allowing different configurations depending on transport needs:

– With seven seats in use: 381 liters in the rear trunk and 116 liters in the front compartment (frunk).

– With the third row folded down: the volume jumps to 894 liters, ideal for larger luggage.

– Capacidade total maximum: when folding the two rear rows, the space reaches 2,094 liters, with a flat floor.

Performance and technical specifications

The Long Range version with all-wheel drive (AWD) maintains the brand’s characteristic robust performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds, even with the additional weight of the new seat structure. Energy efficiency has been preserved, allowing long journeys with minimal stops, supported by the extensive Superchargers network available in the region.

The battery was designed to support the extra load of passengers and luggage without significant degradation of the stated range. Four-wheel drive ensures stability and grip in different weather and terrain conditions, reinforcing safety for family transport.

Prices and market positioning

The investment to purchase the seven-seater version represents a calculated increase over the standard model. Na Espanha, the starting price was set at 55,490 euros, which corresponds to an increase of 2,500 euros compared to the five-seat variant. In other markets such as Alemanha, the price structure follows a similar logic, adjusted according to local rates.

The vehicle leaves the factory with the basic Autopilot package and has all the necessary hardware for future activations of the full autonomous driving system (Full Self-Driving), depending only on regulatory approvals in each country. Local production in Berlim is strategic to reduce logistics time and quickly fulfill orders placed in this first half of the year.

Technology and user experience

The cabin reflects the automaker’s technological minimalism, centered on a 16-inch screen that manages everything from navigation to the car’s dynamic controls. For passengers in the second row, there is an 8-inch screen that allows you to control the climate control and access games or streaming, with support for individual Bluetooth headphones. The panoramic glass roof enhances the feeling of space, while the user interface continues to receive over-the-air (OTA) updates to improve functionality over time.
