Sharp’s new Aquos R9 Pro arrives in December with AI and 5000mAh battery in Japan

Sharp announces Aquos R9 Pro with Vario-Summicron Leica camera system and launch in December on the The smartphone features three rear sensors of 50.3 megapixels each, including a main one measuring 1/0.98 inch for sharp captures in low light. The telephoto lens offers 2.8x optical and up to 20x hybrid zoom, while the ultrawide lens covers 122 degrees with macro capability.

The model incorporates the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor for fluid performance in multitasking and gaming. The 6.7-inch Pro IGZO OLED screen reaches a resolution of 1440×3120 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz, ensuring smooth images and vivid colors. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 32W wireless and wired charging.
