This month, the national automotive sector receives an important update in the electrified vehicle segment with the arrival of two new products from one of the main Asian manufacturers. The brand confirmed the start of sales of the new Atto 8 sports utility vehicle, focused on large families, and the renewal of the 2027 line of the Song Plus, its best-selling model in the country. Ambos the launches reinforce the strategy of expanding the offer of plug-in hybrids with greater energy efficiency.
The commercial movement aims to serve different consumer profiles, from those who need executive space to those who prioritize savings in daily urban use.

Dimensions and capacity of the new utility vehicle
The Atto 8 arrives with the mission of raising the brand’s standard of comfort, offering a robust body measuring 5.04 meters long and 2 meters wide. The 2.95 meter wheelbase was specifically designed to accommodate seven occupants with dignity, differentiating itself from options that precariously adapt the space.
The flexibility of the trunk is another highlight of the project, varying according to the driver’s transportation needs. With maximum passenger capacity, the compartment offers 270 liters, but when configuring the vehicle for five people, the capacity increases to 960 liters, ideal for large volumes on long trips.
Mechanical performance and autonomy
The Atto 8’s engineering combines a 1.5 turbo combustion engine with two electric thrusters, resulting in a combined power of 488 horsepower and torque of 68.8 kgfm. Esse set allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, ensuring agility even with its tall size. The 35.6 kWh battery provides an electric range of 111 km for the Inmetro cycle, with support for quick recharges that recover energy in a few minutes.
Technology updates in Song Plus 2027
The automaker’s best-selling model received technical adjustments focused on usability and autonomy for the 2027 line. The introduction of a new 26.3 kWh battery allowed the range to be extended in pure electric mode to 99 km in the PBEV standard, offering greater freedom of emission-free driving.
