The Brazilian automotive sector now has new options in the electrified vehicle segment after the announcement of two strategic launches by one of the main Asian manufacturers. The brand confirmed the arrival of the unprecedented Atto 8 sports utility vehicle, aimed at families who need more space, and the update of the 2027 Song Plus line, the model that leads the company’s sales in the country. The new features aim to serve everyone from executives to consumers looking for savings in daily urban use.
The values and specifications revealed for the national market position the vehicles competitively. The unprecedented Atto 8 debuts with a suggested price of R$399,990, while the updated version of the Song Plus maintains the value of R$249,990. The Ambos models present significant developments in their battery packs and recharging systems, increasing the energy efficiency of the fleet available in the Brasil.
Dimensions and capacity of the new utility vehicle
The Atto 8 arrives with the proposal to raise the standard of comfort offered by the brand, featuring a robust body measuring 5.04 meters long and 2 meters wide. The wheelbase of 2.95 meters was specifically developed to accommodate seven occupants with dignity, differentiating itself from competitors who adapt the internal space in a precarious way.
The versatility of the trunk is one of the highlights of the project, adapting according to transport needs. With maximum passenger occupancy, the compartment offers 270 liters, but when configuring the vehicle for five people, the capacity increases to 960 liters, an ideal volume for accommodating luggage on long trips.
Mechanical performance and autonomy
The engineering applied to the Atto 8 combines a 1.5 turbo combustion engine with two electric thrusters, resulting in a combined power of 488 horsepower and torque of 68.8 kgfm. Esse mechanical set allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, ensuring agility despite its large proportions. The 35.6 kWh battery ensures an electric range of 111 km in the Inmetro cycle, with support for quick recharges.
Technology updates in Song Plus 2027
The automaker’s best-selling model received technical adjustments focused on usability and autonomy for the 2027 line. The introduction of a new 26.3 kWh battery made it possible to extend the range in pure electric mode to 99 km in the PBEV standard, providing greater freedom for driving without pollutant emissions.

Inside, the digital experience was improved with the native integration of the Google system into the multimedia center.
