The Italian Dominik Paris took victory on the descent of Kvitfjell, on the Olympic track close to Lillehammer, at Noruega, this Saturday (21), with a time of 1:45.37. The result represents the 25th victory in the athlete’s career in the Copa of the Mundo of the FIS, being the 20th specifically in the downhill modality, which places him as the second skier with the most triumphs in this event in history, behind only the Austrian Franz Klammer, who has 25. The performance also marked the seventh victory of Paris on the same track, reinforcing his historical dominance in the place.

The Swiss Franjo von Allmen finished in second place, with 1:45.56, 0.19 seconds behind the winner, while the Austrian Vincent Kriechmayr completed the podium in third, with 1:45.97. The event took place as part of the Finais of the Copa of the Mundo of alpine skiing, in the stage held in Lillehammer, and served as the last descent of the men’s season in the sport.
