Availability and compatibility of titles
Lords of the Fallen is the only next-gen exclusive game among the three. The others work on both PS5 and PS4, which expands the reach for those who still use the previous console. Sony confirmed that all games added in April remain permanently in subscribers’ libraries as long as the subscription is active.
The announcement confirms rumors that have been circulating since last week, including information from insider billbil-kun about the presence of Lords of the Fallen. The 2023 game gained extra attention for preceding the release of its sequel, still scheduled for this year.
Price adjustment for PlayStation consoles on Brasil
Sony implemented an increase in the suggested prices of PlayStation 5 consoles starting this Thursday, April 2nd. No Brasil, the standard PS5 went from R$4,499.90 to R$5,099.90. The digital version went from R$3,999.90 to R$4,599.90, while the PS5 Pro went from R$6,999.90 to R$7,499.90.
The PlayStation Portal also had an adjustment, going from R$1,499.90 to R$1,899.90. The company attributes the change to global economic pressures that affect production and distribution costs. The new values are valid in several markets, including Brasil, and represent the second significant increase in less than a year.
Impact on the PlayStation ecosystem
Despite the adjustment in hardware, the PlayStation Plus monthly game offer continues without changes to the subscription price. April’s titles arrive at a time when many players are looking for additional content to justify their investment in the console. The inclusion of a large soulslike and a remastered classic collection reinforces the service’s appeal to different audience profiles.
April’s games expand options for those who prefer challenging single-player or cooperative multiplayer experiences. Lords of the Fallen offers hundreds of weapons and nine character classes, while Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream focuses on hack-and-slash action with RPG elements. The Tomb Raider collection allows you to revisit or discover the origins of the iconic Lara Croft with enhanced visual quality.
Game redemption schedule
Subscribers must access PlayStation Store or the PS menu Plus from April 7th to add the new titles. Não you must download them all immediately, as redemption guarantees permanent access while the subscription is valid. Quem has PS5 and PS4 can take advantage of cross-compatibility where available.
Sony maintains the three-games-a-month model for tier Essential, with added benefits on plans Extra and Premium. April’s lineup balances different genres, from intense action to classic exploration, which should appeal to veterans and new players alike.
