Entre the main highlights are the soulslike Lords of the Fallen and the remastered collection of the first three chapters of the saga Tomb Raider.

  • Lords of the Fallen (PS5)
  • Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream (PS5)
  • Tomb Raider I-III Remastered (PS4, PS5)

Dark challenge and technical renewal in Lords of the Fallen

The most technically heavy title on the list is the reboot of Lords of the Fallen, originally released in 2023 by CI Games. The game introduces an innovative duality mechanic between two parallel worlds, known as Axiom, the realm of the living, and Umbral, the plane of the dead.

Players take on the role of one of the Cruzados of the Trevas with the mission to prevent the resurrection of the demon god Adyr. The combat system is rigorous and allows complete customization through nine starting classes and hundreds of different weapons.

Classic exploit with improvements in Tomb Raider

The inclusion of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered offers players the opportunity to relive Lara Croft’s original adventures with enhanced visuals. Esta definitive version encompasses all expansions and secret levels that were previously exclusive to certain platforms in the nineties.

One of the main features of this collection is the ability to instantly switch between modern graphics and the original polygonal style. Além Additionally, updated control schemes have been implemented that better adapt to the analog sticks of the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles.

Developer Aspyr also included an unprecedented challenge mode, where users can complete specific objectives to unlock costumes that grant improvements to the protagonist’s abilities. The user interface received specific adjustments, such as health bars for bosses, aiming to reduce frustration in more complex confrontations.

Mass co-op with Sword Art Online

Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream completes April’s trio, focusing on an online co-op action experience that supports up to 20 simultaneous players. The plot revolves around the system Galaxia, which allows you to relive past events within the virtual universe of ALfheim Online, but ends up generating a temporal anomaly.

In this scenario, characters from different arcs of the franchise need to come together to correct the distorted timeline. The game organizes participants into five groups of four to face raids against high-difficulty bosses.

The title features 21 playable characters with specific roles on the battlefield, ranging from attackers, tanks and supports. Além From the focus on multiplayer, there is an individual story mode that explores the original narrative created specifically for this Bandai Namco release.

Availability and closure of the previous cycle

Subscribers to the Sony service have until April 6th to redeem the games made available in March. The current list, which includes titles such as PGA Tour 2K25 and Monster Hunter Rise, will be permanently replaced once the new update goes live on the digital store.

Once added to the library, April games remain accessible as long as PlayStation subscription Plus is active on the user’s account. Sony reinforces that PlayStation Store update times may vary depending on the region, but they follow the release pattern during the morning period in each location.

Technical details and system requirements

For PlayStation 5 users, games Lords of the Fallen and Sword Art Online take advantage of specific hardware features such as fast loads and support for the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback. Já the Tomb Raider trilogy guarantees full compatibility with the PlayStation 4, maintaining stable performance even on previous generation hardware.

Access to the online multiplayer mode of all the titles mentioned requires maintaining an active PlayStation Plus subscription. Sony also offers trial versions for other games in the Deluxe plan, allowing players to try out recent releases before making a definitive purchase.
