Motorola confirmed the arrival of its latest device focused on the large screen segment for April 30, 2026. The equipment marks the company’s return to the sector and expands the global offer of affordable products. The model hits shelves with a suggested retail price of US$249.99, an amount equivalent to around 40,000 yen on the Asian market.

The commercial strategy seeks to attract consumers who need a versatile device for media consumption and daily tasks without a high financial investment. The device will initially be sold through North American carriers T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile. The project is based on an updated version of the equipment that was already circulating in other countries, consolidating the manufacturer’s presence in the entry-level category. The proposal balances modern hardware components with an external finish aimed at durability in daily use.

Image quality and fluidity in daily navigation

The front panel of the equipment has an 11-inch IPS LCD screen that reaches a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Essa technical specification guarantees a high level of clarity when reading long texts and playing content on video platforms. The refresh rate reaches 90Hz, a technical difference that provides smoother transitions between the operating system menus. The input device market tends to adopt the 60Hz standard, which puts this launch in a favorable technical position. The display reaches a peak brightness of 500 nits, making it easier to view information even in environments with strong natural lighting. The manufacturer applied a specific coating to the glass surface to reduce the accumulation of fingerprints during prolonged use. Panel calibration prioritizes the user’s visual comfort, minimizing eye fatigue after hours of exposure to the light emitted by the screen. The absence of OLED technology helps keep production costs low without compromising the fidelity of the colors displayed.

Processing capacity and internal storage

The internal architecture of the device works under the command of the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, developed with a 6 nanometer lithography process. The component has eight processing cores, divided between two high-performance units operating at 2.4 GHz and six units focused on energy efficiency. The set delivers a speed gain of around 10% when compared to the chips used in the previous generation of the same line. The hardware works together with 8 GB of random access memory, allowing multiple applications to run simultaneously without noticeable crashes. The focus of the project is on the stability of the system’s basic functions.

The space allocated for storing files totals 128 GB from the factory. The user can expand this capacity by inserting a memory card in microSD format. The configuration perfectly suits students and professionals who deal with editing text documents and spreadsheets.

Sound immersion with spatial audio certification

The physical structure of the tablet houses four independent sound outputs located at the ends of the metal chassis. The acoustic system is certified Dolby Atmos, which creates a three-dimensional audio sensation when playing movies and music. Most competing equipment in this price range only offers two speakers, limiting the amplitude of the sound. The internal software automatically adjusts the equalization according to the position in which the user holds the device. Audio distribution changes dynamically when the screen rotates from portrait to landscape mode.

The clarity of sound frequencies remains stable even when the volume reaches maximum levels. Acoustic distortion, a frequent problem in cheaper portable devices, was minimized by the brand’s engineers. The feature turns the device into a complete platform for home entertainment.

Power autonomy and support for mobile networks

The integration of a modem compatible with fifth generation networks represents a leap in connectivity for users who work outside the home or office. The device has a dedicated compartment for inserting telephone operator chips, ensuring internet access in places without Wi-Fi signal coverage. The manufacturer chose to maintain the traditional 3.5 millimeter input for headphones, meeting a constant consumer demand for analog connections. The set of specifications aimed at mobility includes the following technical elements that define the daily use of the device:

  • High-density battery with a total capacity of 7,040 mAh.
  • Support for power recharging with a maximum power of 20W.
  • Estimated autonomy of up to 12 hours of continuous video playback.
  • Slim physical profile with a thickness of just 6.99 millimeters.
  • Approximate total weight of 480 grams for easy daily transport.

System integration and exclusive visual identity

The Android operating system manages all the equipment’s functions, running under a graphical interface developed by the manufacturer itself. The software includes tool Smart Connect, which establishes a direct communication bridge between the tablet, cell phones and computers of the same brand. The technology speeds up the transfer of heavy files and allows the device to be used as an extension of the main work area. The interface adapts applications to the format of floating windows, taking advantage of the useful space of the 11-inch display to increase user productivity. The external finish of the product is the result of a partnership established with Pantone, adopting the shade Bronze Green across the entire metal housing. The choice of color gives the device a more refined visual aspect, moving it away from the generic design found in models made of plastic. The reinforced structure protects internal components against light everyday impacts. The launch reinforces the company’s strategy of occupying spaces in all segments of the mobile technology market.
