Google revamps Fitbit and Nest community forums with modern design
Google prepares changes for the Fitbit and Google Nest online user communities. The updates begin in May and bring a renewed look along with navigation improvements.
The community.fitbit.com and googlenestcommunity.com forums operate on their own platforms, different from the support.google.com used in other products. Fitbit has maintained the website since before the acquisition by Google, while Nest uses a similar structure to the old Stadia.
Mudanças visuals prioritize speed and cleanliness
The redesign focuses on an elegant and modern design. Administrators highlight an ultra-fast interface, in line with the performance of current devices. The layout gains cleaner lines to match the style of Fitbit wearables and Nest products.
Usuários should notice a difference as soon as you access it. The new look makes it easier to read and reduces load times in discussions.
Organização content becomes more intuitive
The internal structure undergoes complete reorganization. Intuitive Categorias allows you to reach the desired topic with fewer clicks. Discussions gain a simplified layout, which keeps the main devices and topics in focus.
In the case of the Google Nest community, there will be dedicated space for discussions about Gemini to Casa. Essa separation helps those looking for specific support on integration with wizards.
- Intuitive Categorias reduces clicks to find content
- Simplified Discussões highlights useful device information
- Novo space for themes related to Gemini for Casa in Nest
- Fastest Interface across platform

Histórico of posts does not migrate to the new environment
Quem accesses the forums today and must retain important information. Current post history will not be available after migration. Google has not yet detailed whether communities will go to the standard support platform or receive a completely new version.
The transition aims to prepare communities for the future. Usuários continues to have access to support and experience exchanges, but in an updated environment.
What to expect in the coming months
The changes come into effect in May. Quem actively participates in the forums and should receive direct notifications with guidance. The focus is on keeping the experience useful for longer within the Google ecosystem.
The initiative covers both Fitbit and Google Home and Nest. Quem uses devices should find discussions more organized and easier to navigate.
