Adidas has unveiled the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3, a supershoe that marks a new level in the running footwear industry. The model becomes the brand’s first to weigh less than 100 grams, reaching just 97 grams in UK size 8.5 samples. The launch takes place at Londres this weekend and represents the culmination of three years of intensive research involving laboratories at Alemanha and high-altitude testing at Quênia and Etiópia.

The new Adios Pro Evo 3 is 30% lighter than its direct predecessor. Além’s weight reduction, the shoe delivers 11% more energy return in the forefoot and improves running economy by 1.6% compared to the previous version. Esses earnings position the product as a candidate to break world records since its initial launch.

Revolutionary Espuma and integrated carbon system

Adidas has completely restructured the interaction between foam and carbon plate in the new model. The Lightstrike Pro Evo foam is almost 50% lighter than previous versions. With a stack of 39 millimeters in the heel and 36 millimeters in the forefoot, it offers cushioning, propulsion and energy return in each athlete’s stride.

At the heart of the construction is ENERGYRIM technology, which integrates carbon to support the largest possible volume of Lightstrike Pro Evo foam. Esse system adjusts the exact stiffness needed to maintain stability while maximizing energy return. The material combination came about after more than a dozen development iterations.

  • Lightstrike Pro Evo foam with weight reduction close to 50%
  • Stack 39mm heel and 36mm forefoot
  • Drop with just 3 mm between heel and toe
  • ENERGYRIM combining carbon and foam for precise stiffness
  • Upper inspired by kitesurfing sails for extreme lightness

Minimalist Cabedal and strategic sole

Adidas removed everything that was not essential from the upper of the shoe. The material is inspired by kitesurf sail technologies, offering a near-zero weight sensation with pinpoint support where needed. Componentes like laces and stitching have undergone obsessive refinement for marginal grams gain.

The sole uses Continental rubber only at strategic points in the forefoot. Essa choice maintains traction at high speed without adding extra grams. The look maintains minimalism with a predominance of white and three black stripes. The heel exposes a mirrored element that reveals part of the Energy Rim structure, creating a functional and aesthetic design.

Estreia with elite athletes in Londres

World-class Atletas will use the new Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3 in competitions in Londres. Sabastian Sawe and Tigist Assefa compete in shorts and singlets from the new racing kit. Yomif Kejelcha and Amos Kipruto utilize the Techfit+ endurance suit, which includes Climacool+ innovations for ventilation and Techfit+ for targeted support. Testes show up to 1% gain in running economy with full suit.

The launch coincides with the recent legacy of the Adizero franchise. Desde 2023, the Adios Pro Evo models have helped athletes break three world records and win more than 30 important road races. The Adizero line as a whole has accumulated over 200 wins in key competitions since 2020.
