‘General Hospital’ Actress Has Restraining Order Following Mental Health Crisis

A judge approved an emergency restraining order against “General Hospital” actress Kirsten Storms after her ex-husband Brandon Barash claimed she is facing a serious mental health crisis. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the decision was made based on concerns about the actress’ ability to properly care for her 12-year-old daughter with Brandon.

Brandon, who also starred in the same series, described in the records a sequence of worrying behaviors. Ele reported that after the divorce, when they both moved into Tennessee, Kirsten never maintained a fixed residence between September 2024 and June 2025, switching between friends’ houses and hotels frequently. Kirsten was convinced that she was being followed to her room.

Brandon highlighted that Kirsten, a well-paid actress with recurring roles in soap operas since the late 1990s, was facing serious financial problems. In November 2025, Kirsten called Brandon claiming that people were breaking into her apartment, removing her belongings and putting them in her car to “taunt” her. A friend of Kirsten reportedly told Brandon that she believed the actress was abusing Adderall and possibly other substances, and that she was experiencing “repeated episodes of seizures triggered by triggers, hearing things and voices that weren’t there.”

Recentemente, Kirsten posted a video online claiming that their account had been hacked. Brandon asked the court for the actress to undergo a formal mental health evaluation, but it is unclear whether this has yet occurred.
