Sony confirmed the lineup of free games for Plus PlayStation subscribers in May. The catalog features three titles, available from May 5th to PS5 and PS4 users. The package will be accessible on all plans — Essencial, Extra and Premium.

Downloads will remain in the player’s library as long as the subscription is active. Sony maintains a monthly release calendar, offering varied content for different preferences.

EA Sports FC 26 is the star of the month

The football simulator leads the May selection. Será made available for PS5 and PS4, consolidating the series of sports titles in the free catalog. Assinantes get an additional bonus: an exclusive PlayStation Plus icon pack for Ultimate Team, the game’s competitive mode. The addition of EA Sports FC 26 reinforces Sony’s commitment to digital sports within the platform.

Wuchang: Penas Caídas Brings Souls Style Action

Também confirmed for May is the action RPG Wuchang: Penas Caídas, exclusive to PS5. The title transports players to Dinastia Ming, allowing them to control a pirate warrior in battles against monsters and mutations. The game follows the challenging formula of Souls style games, attracting fans of complex mechanics and historical narratives.

Nine Sols completes the lineup with 2D platform

The third title is Nine Sols, available for both PS5 and PS4. Trata is an action platformer with hand-drawn art, focusing on fast-paced fun. The combination of classic mechanics with a distinctive artistic look marks the game as a versatile choice for subscribers looking for variety.

The three titles offer different profiles:

  • EA Sports FC 26 — football simulator, PS5 and PS4
  • Wuchang: Penas Caídas — Souls-style action RPG, PS5
  • Nine Sols — 2D action platformer, PS5 and PS4

April’s Jogos comes out on the same day

An important detail: May 4th is the last day to download April’s free titles. Jogadores who have not yet claimed the previous month should take advantage of the deadline before catalog renewal. Sony follows its standard monthly rotation calendar, replacing releases every 30 days.

The strategy keeps PlayStation Plus competitive in the subscription services market. By offering high-profile titles — like EA Sports FC 26 — alongside innovative indies, Sony seeks to attract new subscribers and maintain engagement among existing users. The growing catalog reinforces the service’s value proposition in relation to competitors.

Assinantes already has a date marked on the calendar: May 5th is when downloads will be available to claim through the PlayStation digital store.
