DJI launches Mic Mini 2 with reduced price and intelligent audio customizations
DJI introduced the Mic Mini 2, the second generation of its compact wireless microphone system. The equipment significantly reduces the price compared to the previous model and incorporates new sound customization features. The transmitter has a renewed design with a removable magnetic clip and interchangeable front covers in multiple colors.
The most substantial change is in the audio customization built into the device. The Mic Mini 2 offers three voice timbre presets — Regular, Rich and Bright — that allow direct sonic adjustments on the equipment, eliminating the need for post-production tools in field recordings or mobile situations.

Recording continues to operate at 48 kHz, 24 bits, with automatic limiting features and adjustable gain in five levels. The system preserves two stages of noise cancellation and two-track recording accessible via the DJI Mimo app.
The transmitter weighs just 11 grams, reducing weight compared to the previous generation. The transmission range reaches up to 400 meters with the standard receiver and 300 meters with the mobile version. Essas specifications maintain the operating structure similar to the original model.
Autonomia battery and fast charging
The transmitter operates for up to 11.5 hours continuously. The receiver offers 10.5 hours of operation. The charging case extends total system usage to 48 hours, allowing extended operation without external recharging.

Design and visual customization

A thematic collection developed by illustrator Victo Ngai offers four aesthetic variants — Aurora, Onda, Chama and Brilho — signaling a more expressive direction for customizing the brand’s accessories.
The removable magnetic clip can rotate, adapting to different mounting positions. The visual redesign follows the technical evolution of the product, maintaining the compact ergonomics that define the Mic Mini line.
