Lando Norris starts on pole in the Miami GP sprint with grid defined

The fourth stage of the 2026 Fórmula 1 season takes place this weekend at Estados Unidos. Lando Norris secured pole position for the sprint race after qualifying on Friday. The Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto will start in 11th position.

Miami’s Autódromo Internacional gets the action this Saturday. The short race has 19 laps and offers extra points towards the championship. Main qualifying for Sunday’s race takes place later this afternoon.

Grid sprint start puts McLaren ahead

Lando Norris recorded a time of 1min27s869 and beat Kimi Antonelli by 0s222. Oscar Piastri completed the front row with the third time. Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen form the second row.
