Apple reveals watchOS 27 with modular watch faces and Siri as a chatbot

Segundo information released by Bloomberg, Apple plans to launch watchOS 27 with new modular watch faces and rebrand Siri as a chatbot-style assistant in iOS 27. The internal codename of the new watch system is “Orchid”, while the iPhone’s codename will be “Rave”.

Modular dials are highlighted in the update. Baseados on the Apple Watch Ultra’s “Modular Ultra” design, these new dials will be adapted to work on other models, including the Apple Watch Series 11. The layout envisions a large time display taking up two-thirds of the screen, with three complications displayed side by side at the bottom, eliminating the top and center complications of the current model.

Siri gains conversational interface

The Siri redesign represents the most significant change in iOS 27. The assistant will be transformed into a standalone app with a similar appearance to ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. The new interface maintains visual simplicity with a black background, text fields for queries and a topic format layout, similar to messaging conversations.

The application will allow you to execute multiple commands with a single instruction, expanding automation capabilities. Essa change was originally scheduled for iOS 18.4, but was delayed to version 27.

Photo Aplicativos with built-in AI

iOS 27 will bring significant improvements to the Fotos and Câmera applications, with greater integration of Apple’s artificial intelligence. The Fotos application will receive features such as “Imagem Enhancement”, “Imagem Correction” and “Composição Retuning”, all powered by AI.
