Componentes and launch exclusives
The deck includes premium components for collectors. The pack contains 12 borderless foil cards with new art by artist Wizard of the Barge, as well as 22 foil Montanhas in panoramic format. The land illustrations reflect the chaos and energy of Goblins, creating a cohesive visual experience. The deck comes ready to play, with 100 cards totaling the standard quantity of Commander.
Também includes 63 unfoiled reprints marked with the Planeswalker stamp, different from the original versions. Este same label appears on products like Mystery Booster 2 and other earlier Secret Lair decks. Três reprints receive exclusive new illustrations that contextualize Goblins in different Multiverso Magic scenarios.
Fichas themes and special auxiliaries
- 4 metallized Goblin tokens with new art
- 10 double-sided tokens without metallic effect (from previous expansions)
- 1 storm counter assistant
- 1 Zada, Hedron Grinder in exhibition version (not allowed in official tournaments)
- 1 box to store the deck
The design of the metallic Goblin chips follows the premium visual theme of the product. The storm assistant features an illustration that literally represents the moment of being hit by a barrage of conjurations — a central concept of the deck’s strategy.
Estratégia and deck mechanics
The deck explores the “storm” mechanic, which copies spells based on the number of spells cast in the same turn. Zada, Hedron Grinder acts as commander to enhance this strategy. By selecting a single Goblin with spells like Descoberta Ousada, Zada ensures that all controlled Goblins receive copies of the effect, exponentially multiplying the spells’ value.
Cartas keys include Esvaziar as well as Covis, Tiro of Uvas and Nevoa of Fúria — all with storm mechanics. Cada copy of the spell generates new effects that fuel cascades of consecutive casts. The deck also contains 26 Goblin creatures, 17 sorceries, 10 instants, 5 enchantments, and 6 artifacts strategically distributed to support this volume strategy.
Criaturas of the deck and strategic roles
Krenko, Chefe of Máfia and Pashalik Mons function as additional Goblins generators. Grenzo, Incitador of Devastação offers flexibility when retrieving creatures from the graveyard. Howlsquad Pesado and Mestre of Horda of Rundvelt amplify the effects when multiple Goblins come into play. Bombardeiros of Bordo, Searslicer Duende and others create direct damage associated with their effects.
The inclusion of Chefe from Guerra Goblin and Marechal from Guerra Mogg enhances the creatures’ coordinated attack. Ladrão Impulsivo generates card advantage by stealing effects from opponents. Matrona Goblin takes care of initial token generation to quickly activate storm effects.
Cartas non-creature and support
The Heroísmo enchantments on Linha of Frente and Bombardeio Goblin offer damage amplification and discard. Tremores of Impacto delivers mass cleaning effect that does not harm Goblins. Em Busca of Senhor of Goblins works as specialized deck tutoring.
Artefatos include Presilha Craniana for stealing from opponents, Anel Solar for mana acceleration, and Swiftfoot Boots for commander protection. Distorção to Caos and Grande Assalto to Trem offer tactical jamming effects. Hino of Batalha and Fios Carmesins enhance direct attack.
