The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G hit the market on March 25, 2026 with significant advances in performance and visual quality. The new intermediary from the South Korean manufacturer replaces the Galaxy A56 5G, maintaining the line’s proposal, but with specific improvements in processor, screen and connectivity. The initial launch took place in select markets, with expanded availability expected in the coming months.

Processador Exynos 1680 increases performance by 12% to 42%

The Galaxy A57 5G uses the Exynos 1680 processor, replacing the Exynos 1580 of the previous model. The change results in measurable gains in three main components. The CPU advances 12.5%, while the GPU registers an increase of 13.8%. The NPU, responsible for artificial intelligence tasks, shows the biggest jump with an increase of up to 42%.

Esses numbers are reflected in more fluid multitasking and accelerated image processing. The RAM memory also received an upgrade in speed, with a gain of 17%, making it easier to quickly load applications and switch between them without noticeable crashes. The cooling system has been reinforced with a 13% larger vapor chamber, maintaining consistent performance even under heavy use.

  • CPU with a 12.5% gain in processing speed.
  • GPU with a 13.8% increase in graphics capacity.
  • NPU increased by up to 42% for artificial intelligence tasks.
  • Memória RAM 17% faster in access speed.
  • Câmara 13% larger vapor for better thermal dissipation.

Tela Super AMOLED+ with 1900 nits brightness improves visibility

Ambos models share 6.7-inch panel with Hz 120 refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The Galaxy A57 5G adopts Super AMOLED+ technology, which offers improved subpixel structure for sharper text and greater energy efficiency. Peak brightness reaches 1900 nits, compared to 1200 nits on the predecessor, significantly improving visibility in direct sunlight.

In indoor environments, the difference is subtle, but contributes to more vibrant colors and high contrast. The panel’s efficiency also helps preserve the battery during prolonged use at high brightness. Protection continues with Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and rear, maintaining the durability of the set.

Thinner and lighter Design improves comfort without losing strength

The Galaxy A57 5G measures 6.9 mm thick and weighs 179 g, lower than the 7.4 mm and 198 g of the Galaxy A56 5G. The edges have been refined, giving a more modern look and a feeling of lightness in the hand. The metal structure remains, maintaining IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Essa combination preserves durability while making the device more comfortable for extended use or carrying in your pocket.

Câmera maintains hardware but gains faster processing

The rear configuration continues with a 50 MP main sensor with optical stabilization, a 12 MP ultrawide lens and a 5 MP macro. The front remains at 12 MP. Apesar’s similarity in hardware, the Galaxy A57 5G incorporates enhanced ISP and optimized low-noise processing. Esses advancements result in better quality HDR videos, superior low-light performance and a reduction in trigger time to around 230 ms, compared to 300 ms on the previous model.

Armazenamento and connectivity expand usage possibilities

Pela for the first time in the Galaxy A series, the model offers a variant with 512 GB of internal storage, in addition to 128 GB and 256 GB options. Combinado with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM, the set meets everything from basic use to more intense demands for storing photos, videos and applications. Support for Wi-Fi 6E represents a significant advance over the A56 5G’s Wi-Fi 6, with access to the 6 GHz band offering more stable connections in congested environments.

The 5000 mAh battery is identical to that of the Galaxy A56 5G, as is the support for 45 W fast charging. The difference appears in the optimization provided by the new processor and more efficient screen, which should slightly extend autonomy in real usage scenarios. The device leaves the factory with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, with the promise of up to six years of system updates and security patches.
