Nacon Connect brought together development studios from around the world to showcase their upcoming projects. Entre the main revelations are titles based on the universe of World of Darkness, which bring supernatural creatures such as hunters, werewolves and vampires to Xbox consoles in 2027.
Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish Arrives Summer 2027
The tabletop-based action game was initially announced at this year’s Xbox Partner Preview. Piotr Creative Director Łatocha of Teyon detailed the studio’s vision during the presentation. The work puts the player in the role of a hunter facing creatures of darkness.
The character creation system allows you to define appearance, backstory and skills taken directly from the tabletop rules. Attributes and skills influence the player’s approach during the adventure. Cada player chooses how to act in the narrative:

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu challenges cooperation between friends
Chilean studio ACE Team has created a cooperative horror experience rooted in distrust. The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu places players in a hostile environment where they must rely on each other to survive. The in-depth presentation revealed gameplay mechanics that test the group’s cohesion.
Players gear up on the Galleon ship before entering a jungle that follows its own rules. The forest throws disturbing events and Lovecraft-inspired horrors at the party as they search for treasure. Eventos mentally deformers emerge without warning. Cosmic Criaturas appear and challenge the team continuously.
Teamwork is essential to success, but there is no guarantee that everyone will make it out alive. The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu launches on Xbox Series X|S on July 15th. The game marks ACE Team’s return to publishing original horror titles with a focus on co-op.

This year’s Nacon Connect showcased a mix of genres and development styles.
