Omoda-Jaecoo officially presented the Elite version of the Jaecoo 7 with a suggested price of R$179,990, redefining entry into the electrified medium sports utility vehicle segment. The model begins the pre-sale period with open reservations at the network’s dealerships, positioning itself below the R$180,000 barrier. The announcement, made this Tuesday, marks an aggressive strategy by the Chinese manufacturer to gain volume in the Brazilian plug-in hybrid market.

Motor hybrid maintains full power in entry-level version

The Elite version preserves the complete propulsion system of the more expensive variants, a rare difference on the market. The Jaecoo 7 uses the SHS system (Super Hybrid System), which combines a 1.5 turbo combustion engine with a powerful electric unit, generating 279 horsepower of maximum power.
