Yamaha announced the launch of the Grizzly 110 on Japão on April 24, 2026, priced at 600,000 yen and expected to be available on November 25. The new quadricycle is aimed at young people aged 10 and over and combines durability with simplified operation for recreational use on private land and specific tracks. In the country, quadricycles do not circulate on public roads, being restricted to leisure activities in nature, a segment that is registering growth in demand among enthusiasts.

Single-cylinder Motor prioritizes torque at low revs

The Grizzly 110 is equipped with a 112 cubic centimeter, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine, single overhead camshaft and air-cooled. The Yamaha designed the set to deliver good torque at low and medium speeds, an essential feature for riding on uneven terrain and control maneuvers. The electronic fuel injection system ensures quick starting even on cold days or after prolonged periods of non-use, providing consistent engine response.

Transmissão automatic CVT simplifies operation

The CVT transmission eliminates the need for a clutch or manual gear shifting, allowing the driver to focus only on acceleration and braking. Iniciantes gains greater confidence in learning fundamental maneuvers such as transferring body weight and steering on uneven surfaces. The system includes forward, neutral and reverse gears, meeting different off-road riding situations with operational ease.

A standard throttle limiter allows you to adjust power for children or new users, offering progressive control as the rider gains experience. Essa configuration makes the Grizzly 110 accessible for the entire family, from young children to adults who want to explore challenging terrain without dealing with manual transmission complexities.

Suspensão and brakes adapted for uneven terrain

The Grizzly 110 mounts large diameter tires, 19 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear, offering stability on uneven surfaces. The front suspension uses a single A-arm with approximately 5 inches of travel, while the rear monoshock provides slightly more travel for shock absorption. Essa configuration works in conjunction with the tires to provide comfort and control on trails and challenging off-road areas.

Drum brakes work on both the front and rear, better resisting mud and water, significantly reducing the need for frequent maintenance. Essa choice of braking system reflects the vehicle’s positioning as a robust tool for hostile environments, where reliability outweighs pure braking performance.

Dimensões generous and maintenance accessibility

The Grizzly 110 features generous width in the stirrups and handlebars, allowing adults to ride comfortably without feeling cramped. Bagageiros front and rear support up to 5 kilograms each, making it easier to transport items for trips or leisure activities. The air filter is accessible without the need for tools, simplifying day-to-day maintenance and making the vehicle practical for owners who want basic care without technical complexity.

The overall design emphasizes practicality and resistance to prolonged use, with components designed for durability in demanding environments. Essa approach reflects the Yamaha philosophy of creating equipment that combines functionality with ease of operation for diverse audiences.

Período orders start in May 2026

Yamaha ATV dealers in Japão will take orders for the Grizzly 110 from May 11 to May 25, 2026, operating under an order system. The model is positioned as an entry into the youth quad segment, inheriting the robust style of the Grizzly line and adapting features for younger riders. The focus is on controlled fun and ease of operation, allowing entire families to enjoy outdoor activities safely and reliably.
