Electronic Arts released a new gameplay trailer for EA Sports UFC 6, confirming substantial improvements in visual realism and combat mechanics. The game arrives on June 19th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, marking the next chapter in the series made official by Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The developers focused on differentiating each fighter’s styles through motion captures taken with professional UFC athletes. Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva serve as central examples: the former works with constant pressure on the opponent, while the latter relies on precision dodges. Essa distinction seeks to reflect the particularities of real sport, where clashes never follow the same pattern.

Revisão full of animations and movements

The team responsible for the title carried out a comprehensive redesign of more than 4 thousand animations. Cada character received new resting postures, unique defensive patterns and combat sequences that vary depending on the fighter. The capture system was based on real UFC athletes, ensuring authenticity in gestures and reactions.

Diferentemente from previous titles, each strike can be executed in multiple ways. Essa variation expands tactical depth, allowing players to respond more creatively during exchanges. The trailer highlighted that visual changes accompany each movement, from clothing tremors to muscle deformations during impacts.

Real-time contact Sistema transforms combat

The technical highlight presented is the new real-time contact system. Cada attack connects exactly where it should impact, with adjusted time windows to make exchanges more precise. Essa change significantly alters the reading of situations inside the Octagon, requiring faster repositioning of players.

Damage rendering has been completely overhauled:

  • Sangramento progressive with visible impact textures
  • Animações of discomfort reflecting damage accumulation
  • Texturas of skin and muscles with greater definition
  • Movimentação of clothing and equipment in real time
  • Cicatrizes and facial features preserved between rounds

Aprimoramentos graphics and visuals

Compared to EA Sports UFC 5, the new chapter brings significant advances in visual fidelity. The Octagon’s lighting has been recalibrated to reflect real broadcasts of UFC events, with dynamic shadows and reflections of sweaty skin. Octagon referees and personnel gain more detailed and varied animations.

The studios worked on hair rendering, with simulated physics for natural movement during strikes. Tatuagens athletes receive greater resolution and accuracy in visual applications. The octagon canvas shows progressive damage as the fight progresses, reflecting the bloodshed and visual impact of the confrontation.

The material released reinforced that the franchise seeks to capture both spectacular moments and frustrating situations characteristic of professional sport. The June 19 launch marks the return of the series with a focus on competitive depth and faithful representation of licensed athletes.
