Pearl Abyss revealed the technical specifications of Crimson Desert, the open-world action-adventure game that arrives on March 19, 2026. The title will be released simultaneously for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Mac. The South Korean developer has published the minimum and recommended hardware requirements, as well as resolution and frame rate targets for each platform, allowing players to prepare in advance.

PC Configurações tiered performance tiers

PC requirements have been divided into presets ranging from minimum to ultra. Todas configurations require 16 GB RAM, SSD with approximately 150 GB free space and updated DirectX 12. At the minimum preset, the game runs at 1080p with upscaling from 900p at 30 frames per second, using video cards such as GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 5500 XT, accompanied by processors such as Ryzen 5 2600X or Core i5-8500.

  • Mínimo: GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 5500 XT for 1080p at 30 fps with upscaling
  • Low: GeForce GTX 1660 or Radeon RX 6500 XT for native 1080p at 30 fps
  • Recomendado: GeForce RTX 2080 or Radeon RX 6700 XT for 1080p at 60 fps or 4K at 30 fps
  • High: GeForce RTX 4070 or Radeon RX 7700 XT for 1440p at 60 fps
  • Ultra: GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or Radeon RX 9070 XT for 4K at 60 fps

The recommended preset offers good fluidity in varied scenarios. Higher Configurações demands newer components to maintain high resolution with stable frame rate. Final performance depends on individual graphics settings and other concurrently running software.

Consoles receives customizable performance modes

Nos consoles, the Pearl Abyss has set clear resolution and frame targets with Performance, Balanced and Quality options. On PlayStation 5, the Performance mode targets 1080p at 60 fps, while the Balanced achieves 4K with a rate around 40 fps in some scenarios. Quality mode delivers 4K at 30 fps with greater visual detail. The PS5 version Pro improves these numbers with improved upscaling and ray tracing support.

Na Xbox Series X, the goals follow a similar pattern. The Performance mode prioritizes fluidity with reduced resolution, while Quality favors details in 4K at 30 fps. The Xbox Series S works with 720p or 1080p depending on the mode chosen, with a limit of 30 fps in most situations. Telas compatible with 120 or 240 Hz and HDMI 2.1 cable help achieve the best possible visual result.

BlackSpace Engine delivers large-scale realism

The proprietary BlackSpace Engine graphics engine is designed to create detailed environments with dynamic combat and large-scale exploration. The technology allows for advanced simulations of water, volumetric fog and lighting in real time. Tecido and hair react to wind with GPU-based physics, while destructible environments and dynamic weather complete the visual package. Essas features require high processing power, which is why Pearl Abyss chose to scale hardware requirements instead of imposing a single threshold that is too high.

Pré-sale and availability on digital platforms

Pre-orders for Crimson Desert are now available in the main digital stores. Jogadores on PC access the title via Steam or Epic Games Store, while console owners can find the game in the respective Sony and Microsoft stores. The version for Mac also gains official support. The global launch takes place on March 19, 2026 for all announced versions, with bonuses included in some cases depending on each platform.

Publicizing these technical specifications allows the public to prepare their equipment in advance. Quem plans to play at high settings can assess necessary upgrades, while those with more modest hardware already know what to expect in terms of resolution and fluidity. Pearl Abyss continues to fine-tune technical details leading up to the launch date, with the possibility of additional optimizations based on final testing.
