Splatoon Raiders arrives on Switch 2 in July with solo and cooperative adventure
Nintendo has confirmed the release date for Splatoon Raiders for July 23, 2026, exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. The single-player spin-off of the Splatoon series brings a treasure hunting adventure to Spirhalite Islands, combining exploration, combat and narrative focused on the individual player. A new trailer released presents the gameplay mechanics and the participation of the Deep Cut trio in the journey.
Protagonista mechanic and the search for treasures
The player takes on the role of a mechanic hired by the musical group Deep Cut to explore the mysterious Spirhalite Islands in search of valuable treasures. Durante the adventure, works alongside Shiver, Frye and Big Man, who offer direct support through Bot Buddy, a companion controlled by a member of the trio. Avatar customization allows for visual adjustments before heading to the islands, with equipment and appearance options that reflect the player’s progress.
The narrative emphasizes individual exploration rather than the series’ traditional 4v4 multiplayer battles. Isso marks a significant change in Splatoon Raiders’s proposal in relation to previous titles, attracting players looking for an experience more focused on history and personal discovery.
Combat Mecânicas with ink and gadgets
The combat system maintains the vibrant essence of the franchise, using paint to paint terrain and attack enemies simultaneously. The protagonist faces hordes of Salmonids equipped with mechanical trinkets and specialized weapons that combine elements of painting and direct attack. The trailer shows agile movements, colorful environments and fluid gameplay sequences that demonstrate the visual quality expected from Switch 2.
- Armas and mechanical gadgets serve both painting and combat
- Bot Buddy provides strategic support during missions
- Collected Itens improve equipment and expand combat options
- Até four players can participate in online or local wireless co-op modes
- Detailed Ambientes with intense colors and fluid animations
Amiibos and pre-sale on the eShop
The digital version of Splatoon Raiders is now available for pre-order on the Brazilian eShop for R$279.90. Nintendo has not yet released details about a possible physical edition for the Brazilian market. Simultaneamente to the game’s launch, three new amiibos based on updated versions of Frye, Shiver and Big Man arrive on the same day, July 23, complementing the experience for collectors and offering additional features within the game.
Exclusividade on Switch 2 and visual quality
Splatoon Raiders remains completely exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, with no announcement of release for other consoles. The production was officially revealed about a year ago, and the launch will take place in just over three months. The timing coincides with the school holidays in several countries in the northern hemisphere, a common strategy for titles aimed at a wide audience.
The trailer reinforces the visual quality expected for Nintendo’s new hardware, featuring intense colors, fluid animations and detailed scenes that maintain Splatoon’s characteristic visual identity. Fãs can now add the title to their wish list on the eShop, and the new trailer is available on the official Nintendo YouTube channel to check out the first minutes of gameplay and exploration of the islands.
