Paralives, the new life simulator rival to The Sims 4, has finally been released in early access on Steam. The game developed by Paralives Studio after almost 7 years of production is available for R$97.19 during the launch week. The team warns that the price will increase as new features are added to the title, making this the best time to purchase it.
Players who purchase the game will be able to create their own “Parassoa”, choose a career, participate in activities, make friends and develop romances within the universe of Melino, the game’s main city. Todas future updates will be distributed free of charge.
Mecânicas and different gameplay
Paralives’s gameplay works similarly to The Sims 4, allowing users to click on characters to see action options and interactions with other Parassoas. Players can exercise, run around the neighborhood, cook and perform many other routine activities. The title’s biggest differentiator is the construction and decoration tools, which surpass in complexity those of the direct competitor.
Paralives offers an advanced building system without locking users into a traditional “Grid”. You can create walls in any direction, develop curved walls, elevate and change the terrain, add and resize windows and furniture freely, as well as modify colors through a complete color wheel. The only current limitation is the impossibility of placing doors or windows in curved walls, a feature that will be implemented later.
Personagens with unique traits
Paralives characters have different styles, personalities, traits, skills, desires, needs and emotions. Conforme players complete objectives with their Parassoas, earn upgrade points that allow them to further deepen their personalities and obtain exclusive bonuses. The game’s look displays the characters with well-defined cartoon graphics.
The developers indicate several possibilities for focusing on gameplay. Players can prioritize their professional career, seek to find love, start a family, accumulate a fortune to be the richest in the city or dedicate themselves to creating the house of their dreams using advanced construction tools.
Acesso anticipated and community development
As it is still in the early access phase, Paralives has some known limitations. The developers warn that players may encounter occasional bugs, mechanics that are not yet fully balanced and content that is missing compared to the complete game. It is estimated that the title will remain in early access for approximately 2 years, during which time the community will be able to actively contribute to development.
The Paralives Studio team reinforces that the game is being created by genuine fans of the life simulator genre, which reflects the attention to detail and listening to the gaming community.

Mods and technical support
The game will feature full support for modifications created by the community through Oficina of Steam. Players will be able to share houses, characters and other customized content. The team has confirmed that there will be no paid DLCs in the future, keeping all expansions and updates as free content.
Para to run Paralives, players require Windows 10 or higher with Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 2.5 GHz processor, 12 GB of RAM, GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card and 8 GB of available disk space. The recommended configuration requires Windows 11, i5 or Ryzen 5 3 GHz processor, 16 GB of RAM and GeForce RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 7600 XT card.
