The Realme 16T scored nearly 23 hours in active usage testing, including calls, web browsing, and videos, with respectable gaming performance. The device with an 8,000 mAh battery began its duration and charging tests, revealing autonomy capacity for up to 3 days as promised by the manufacturer.

Nos sequential tests, the Realme 16T achieved impressive numbers. The device achieved almost 50 hours of calls, around 26 hours of internet browsing and just under 25 hours of video playback. Web browsing showed impressive performance, even surpassing the Poco X8 Pro Max equipped with an 8,500 mAh battery.

Resultados in web browsing and video

The 720p screen resolution contributed significantly to the good performance in video playback tests. The 24 hours and 56 minutes of continuous video puts the 16T among the best in the budget category. Internet browsing was an absolute highlight, surpassing devices with larger batteries, as it requires less visual processing than high-resolution screens.

Desempenho on fast charging

The Realme 16T supports 45W fast charging, but does not stand out in this regard compared to competitors. The device only reaches 19% charge in 15 minutes and 34% in half an hour. Fully charging the 8,000 mAh took an hour and a half, a slower speed than similar models on the market.

Performance Comparação with competitors:

  • Realme 16T: 22:43 (active use), 49:33 (calls), 25:42 (web)
  • Poco X8 Pro Max: 25:22 (active use), 44:05 (calls), 9:26 (web)
  • Realme P4 Power: 25:35 (active use), 61:08 (calls), 24:46 (web)
  • vivo V70 FE: 8:41 pm (active use), 47:57 pm (calls), 7:22 pm (web)
  • Honor Magic8 Lite: 17:58 (active use), 34:18 (calls), 18:18 (web)

Posicionamento market and promise of durability

The Realme 16T hits the market starting at INR 29,999 (approximately €270). The manufacturer claims the battery will have a lifespan of 7 years, offering peace of mind to buyers on a budget. The autonomy capacity of up to 3 days, as promised by Realme, places the device in a specific market range aimed at users who prioritize battery life over charging speed.

Embora phones with similar battery capacities show more impressive charging speeds, the Realme 16T is at a disadvantage in this test. The device’s focus clearly points to extended autonomy and affordability, not ultra-fast charging technology. The tests confirm this strategy: excellent duration in active mode and web browsing, but conventional charging for the price range.
