Google has started to expand one of the smart features of the Pixel line to more devices. As Sugestões Contextuais, or Contextual Suggestions, began to appear on devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and the OnePlus 15, including versions marketed as the Brasil. The new feature uses artificial intelligence to anticipate user actions on a daily basis, offering recommendations based on time and location.
The discovery was made by the Android Authority portal and confirmed by TudoCelular in the Brazilian version of Galaxy S25 Ultra. The feature is activated by default on devices, but it is not yet fully working, neither of the two portals have registered suggestions so far. Full functionality should arrive via an Google Play Services update.
Como works like Sugestões Contextuais
The tool operates in a similar way to the Magic Cue from the Pixel 10 line and the Now Nudge from the Galaxy S26 family, both with advanced AI features. The system recommends automated actions based on user context:
- Sugerir a specific playlist when arriving at the gym
- Acender the lights when entering the house
- Abrir security camera shortcuts
- Automatizar recurring tasks
- Reduzir routine manual steps
The goal is to simplify frequent actions by learning device behavior patterns. Diferentemente solutions that require cloud processing, the Sugestões Contextuais work entirely on the device.
Privacidade and local AI processing
Apesar to analyze user behavior, privacy is presented as a pillar of the tool. Segundo the Google support page, data never leaves your device, is not shared with Google and is only used for learning on the device itself.
Esse local processing aspect, however, limits the scope of the solution. Como function requires AI running locally, it is not available on intermediate models — including the recent Galaxy A57. Current availability focuses on premium devices equipped with advanced chips. Tanto, Galaxy S25, Ultra and OnePlus 15 feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, capable of running the algorithms without depending on cloud infrastructure.
Como activate or deactivate the function
Users interested in finding out more or deactivating the tool can access the resource through a simple path. Basta follow: Configurações > Serviços Google > Todos services. Next, scroll down the page to “Others”, where the Sugestões Contextuais are located. From there you can manage the preference.
The new feature now depends on an update so that the algorithms work properly on the devices. Google has not released a specific timeline for when the functionality will be fully activated, maintaining user expectations about the practical performance of the technology.
