Microsoft ends OneDrive photo sync on Galaxy from September 30
Microsoft has confirmed that it will discontinue automatic synchronization of photos and videos between OneDrive and Samsung Gallery on Galaxy phones. The change comes into effect on September 30, 2026. Após On this date, media will no longer be synchronized natively between the 2 applications, ending a partnership that has lasted since 2019.

Files already saved in the cloud by September 30th will remain normally stored on OneDrive. Photos saved in the cell phone’s local gallery will also not be affected. The main difference is that the native integration between the 2 services will no longer work automatically.
