Fãs of Grand Theft Auto VI faces further delay in pre-orders. Take-Two Interactive, controller of Rockstar Games, confirmed yesterday that the game’s pre-sale period will only open in June, ruling out any opening before then. The announcement came during the company’s earnings call, in direct response to speculation that has been circulating for weeks about when reserves would be available.
Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, publicly reinforced the timeline during the Q&A session. Ele has stated that we are “a few weeks” away from the period in which Rockstar Games will begin its marketing campaign, meaning no announcements will take place in early June. Zelnick had previously mentioned that marketing for GTA VI would begin in the summer period, which traditionally begins in June in the northern hemisphere.

Best Buy wrongly informed its affiliate partners that pre-orders would open on May 18, information that proved to be false.
