The Trump T1 Phone is not a cell phone developed from scratch, but rather a rebranding version of the HTC U24 Pro. Fotos comparisons and technical specifications reveal that the two devices share practically the same internal and external components. The speaker grille, notification LED and proximity and ambient light sensors located on the top frame are identical. The headphone jack, cameras and practically the entire internal structure replicate the HTC model.
Inicialmente, Trump T1 was assumed to be a modified Revvl 7 Pro. Conforme units started to reach buyers, side-by-side comparison with the HTC U24 Pro (released in June 2024) showed much greater similarities. Algumas features have been shifted — the rear noise-cancelling microphone and flash are in different positions — but the base is clearly the same.
Especificações practically identical techniques
- Tela 6.8-inch AMOLED on both
- Processador Snapdragon series 7
- Câmera front 50 MP
- Câmera 50 MP rear main
- 8 MP ultra-wide Câmera
- Câmera 50 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom
- Memória 12GB RAM
- 512GB Armazenamento
- Bluetooth 5.3 (Revvl 7 Pro has 5.2)
The Trump T1 Phone offers exactly the same 12GB RAM and 512GB configuration as the HTC U24 Pro. Ambos runs these same specifications, reinforcing the conclusion that it is the same hardware with a different layer of software and branding.
Comparação price highlights connection
The price also reinforces the theory. The Revvl 7 Pro is available for approximately $125 currently. The HTC U24 Pro with 512 GB of storage (identical configuration to the Trump T1) is sold by importers in the range of US$490 to US$525. The Trump T1 Pro is sold at US$499.99, a value that aligns perfectly with the pricing of the HTC U24 Pro and not with that of Revvl 7 Pro.
Essa price convergence is no coincidence. Sugere that Trump Mobile acquired the design, hardware and probably production from the same manufacturer — HTC — and applied only branding and custom software.
Questões pending on the device
Algumas inconsistencies still raise doubts about the phone. The American flag printed on the back of the device has only 11 stripes, when it should have 13. Além Furthermore, Trump Mobile initially stated that the phone would be manufactured in Estados Unidos. The box says it’s “proudly assembled in the USA,” but the hardware is clearly of Chinese origin (HTC is a Taiwanese manufacturer).
The Trump T1 Phone comes with Android 15 pre-installed, a generation behind most recently released Android smartphones. Com Android 17 scheduled for August, the device could quickly fall two generations behind.
Suporte and updates still to be defined
Trump Mobile has not disclosed how many Android and security updates the Trump T1 will receive. Considerando price of $499 is described as “promotional”, an increase is expected in the future. Long-term support remains uncertain, critical information for anyone considering investing in this mid-range phone.
HTC’s track record includes memorable launches — the HTC One (M8) won admiration for its aluminum construction, dual front-facing stereo speakers, and refined design. The Taiwanese manufacturer, however, is now focusing on producing mid-range smartphones like the U24 Pro. The Trump T1 Phone represents another instance of this corporate strategy: a recycled mid-range device with a different visual identity.
