Asian manufacturer Xiaomi officially announced the arrival of the Redmi Pad 2 9.7 tablet and the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026 television line on the European continent this Thursday (28). The equipment initially arrives in countries such as the Itália, after a period of exclusivity in eastern markets, including the China and Malásia. The commercial move expands the company’s electronics catalog in the region, with a focus on cost-benefit devices and high-resolution screens.

The introduction of the new devices comes at a time of strong competition in the technology sector at Europa. The brand seeks to consolidate its participation in the segment of mid-range tablets and premium televisions, offering advanced specifications at competitive prices. The strategy involves the immediate availability of products in physical retail and on the company’s official e-commerce platforms.

Metallic Arquitetura and Tablet Processing Redmi Pad 2 9.7

The brand’s new tablet features a structure developed in a single piece of metal, ensuring resistance to daily use. The device is 7.4 millimeters thick and has a total weight of 406 grams, features that facilitate transport and prolonged handling. The screen adopts 9.7-inch IPS LCD technology, delivering 2K resolution of 2048 x 1280 pixels for reproducing visual content.

The front panel operates at a refresh rate of 120 Hz, providing faster image transitions when browsing and running applications. The maximum brightness of the display reaches 600 nits, a level suitable for reading and watching videos in environments with strong natural lighting. The internal hardware is driven by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor, manufactured by Qualcomm, focused on energy efficiency and multitasking performance.

The equipment’s memory configuration includes 4 GB of RAM in the LPDDR4x standard, operating in conjunction with internal storage options of 64 GB or 128 GB in UFS 2.2 technology. Users can expand file space via MicroSD cards. Power supply depends on a battery with a capacity of 7,600 mAh, compatible with the 18W charging system. The camera module has an 8 MP rear sensor and a 5 MP front lens.

High Definition Painéis in Series Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026

The manufacturer’s new generation of televisions introduces QD Mini-LED technology with 4K resolution to the European market. The backlighting system allows for more precise contrast control, reaching peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits in the brightest scenes. The devices support the HDR10+ and HLG standards, in addition to integrating Modo Cineasta, which deactivates artificial processing to display films in the studios’ original calibration.

The line arrives in stores in five different dimensions, ranging between 55 and 98 inches, to suit different sizes of living rooms. The native update frequency of the panels operates at 60 Hz when transmitting conventional channels. The Game Boost feature increases this rate to 120 Hz on the 55-, 65- and 75-inch models, while the 85-inch and 98-inch versions can reach up to 144 Hz, optimizing response time for video game consoles.

The audio system integrated into the televisions uses two speakers with a power of 15W each. Models with larger screens receive Dolby Vision certification for image enhancement and support for Dolby Atmos technology, which creates a three-dimensional sound field in the environment. Todas variants of the Mini LED 2026 S family have standard compatibility with Dolby Audio and DTS:X decoding formats.

Ecossistema software and connectivity tools

The Redmi Pad 2 9.7 tablet ships from the factory running the HyperOS 3 operating system, the Xiaomi proprietary interface based on the Android 16 architecture. The software includes the Circule tool for Pesquisar, developed by Google, which allows users to select any element on the screen to perform instant internet searches. The device offers wireless connections via Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, as well as support for 4G mobile networks.

The televisions adopt the Google TV platform as a center for managing applications and on-demand content. The operating system facilitates access to streaming services and unifies film and series recommendations on the home screen. Native integration with the Apple and Google Cast AirPlay protocols allows you to quickly mirror videos, photos and music directly from smartphones and computers to the big screen.
