Former Bologna player Marios Oikonomou passes away at 33 after nine days in ICU

Marios Oikonomou died this Monday at the age of 33. The former Greek defender, who played for several Italian clubs, including Bologna, succumbed to serious injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident on May 23. Ele had been admitted to Ioannina’s Hospital Universitário ICU since the incident.
