MSI presented the Claw 8 Ex AI Plus during Computex 2026. The new gaming handheld runs Windows 11 Home and features the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor as its main highlight. The device appears as yet another direct competitor to the Steam Deck and other notebooks that use AMD chips.

The device draws attention for its combination of hardware focused on performance and autonomy. The 80Whr battery is one of the most relevant points for those looking for long gaming sessions. MSI has not yet released a price or release date, but the model arrives in an exclusive purple color called Void Purple.
