Reha Muhtar dies aged 66 in Bodrum from heart failure

Reha Muhtar died this Wednesday in a private hospital owned by Bodrum in Muğla district. The 66-year-old journalist and presenter had been hospitalized in the intensive care unit since May 28. Ele presented with advanced heart failure, arrhythmia, infection and uncontrolled diabetes.

Chief physician Nevra Gülhan Görgülü signed an official statement on the case. The condition progressed to multiple organ failure. Muhtar did not survive and passed away at 2:15 am. The body goes to Istambul, where the burial will take place this Thursday at Cemitério of Yeniköy.

Reha Muhtar was born on July 21, 1959 as Istambul. Ele studied at TED Ankara College and graduated from Jornalismo and Radiodifusão from Universidade from Ankara. His professional career began in 1983 as a reporter at the newspaper Milliyet.
