The GWM Haval H6, leader among hybrid SUVs in Brazil, starts to accept ethanol in the 2027 line and has a starting price of R$199,900. The utility follows the example of the Tank 300, a global pioneer as a plug-in flex hybrid, and adapts the combustion engine to renewable fuel. With the changes, most configurations became up to R$1,000 more expensive, but the GT maintained its previous price. Power, torque and electric range data were also reviewed.
| Version | New Price | Increase |
|---|---|---|
| Haval H6 One | R$ 199,900 | + R$900 |
| Haval H6 HEV2 | R$225,000 | + R$1,000 |
| Haval H6 PHEV19 | R$250,000 | + R$1,000 |
| Haval H6 PHEV35 | R$290,000 | + R$1,000 |
| Haval H6 GT | R$326,000 | – |
The line continues with the same five options, divided into full and plug-in hybrids. The HEV2 works without the need for a socket, while the others require external recharging. Prices reflect recent technical adjustments.
There are no changes to the appearance of the GWM Haval H6 with this update. The new features are concentrated in the mechanical set.
All configurations maintain the 1.5 turbo engine with 150 hp and 24.4 kgfm, the same as the 2026 line. Maximum torque now appears earlier, in the range of 1,200 rpm to 1,800 rpm. The development of the propellant, carried out jointly in China and Brazil, lasted 12 months and involved more than 400 thousand km of tests.
For compatibility with national ethanol, the 1.5 received new spark plugs, filters, fuel pumps, injectors and a specific sensor in the tank. The previous year, the engine had already gained a water intercooler, variable oil pump and electronic water pump.
Combined power and torque numbers change depending on the version.
One and HEV2: full hybrid system (HEV) with 1.53 kWh battery, previously 1.67 kWh. They deliver 248 hp (+5 hp) and 54.5 kgfm, with a two-speed automated transmission that now includes decoupling. The electric range was not detailed, but only allows short periods in EV mode. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h improved from 7.9 s to 7.6 s.
PHEV19: plug-in hybrid system (PHEV) with 19 kWh battery. Generates 326 hp and 54.5 kgfm with DHT gearbox. It offers 73 km of electric autonomy. 0 to 100 km/h fell from 7.6 s to 7.4 s.
PHEV35 and GT: plug-in hybrid system with 35 kWh battery. They produce 393 hp and 65.5 kgfm (13.2 kgfm reduction compared to the previous one) with DHT gearbox. They reach 126 km in electric mode. Acceleration is 4.8 s in the PHEV35 and 4.7 s in the GT.

After the updates, consumption per version looked like this:
- Consumption One and HEV2City (G): 15.8 km/l Road (G): 13 km/l City (E): 10.2 km/l Road (E): 9 km/l
- PHEV19 consumptionCity (G): 14.7 km/l Road (G): 12.9 km/l City (E): 10 km/l Road (E): 8.9 km/l
- PHEV35 and GT consumptionCity (G): 12.5 km/l Road (G): 10.7 km/l City (E): 9.2 km/l Road (E): 7.4 km/l
The two most expensive configurations have all-wheel drive and five driving modes: ICE (FWD) for the 1.5 turbo engine; EV (FWD) by front electric at medium speeds; EV (RWD) by rear electric at low speed; EV (AWD) with both electrics; and Maximum Performance (AWD) with all three engines.
Driving modes remain the same as in the 2025 update.
The main difference between PHEV35 and GT, besides the price, is the body: the GT is the only coupe in the family, while the others have a conventional SUV format.
