Nvidia plans to start selling notebooks equipped with the new RTX Spark chip in Brazil in 2026, with arrival scheduled for November. The company’s sales director for Latin America, Marcio Aguiar, confirmed the plan during a press conference at Web Summit Rio.

“We are bringing the knowledge we have about GPUs to workstations, and merging graphics capabilities with artificial intelligence,” said the executive. It is worth noting that the RTX Spark is a superchip that combines GPU and CPU, following a similar line to some Apple devices. The component uses Blackwell architecture, supports up to 128 GB of RAM and offers a bandwidth of 600 GB/s.

Dell foresees notebook with RTX Spark in the country

In an exclusive conversation, Marcio Aguiar detailed the behind-the-scenes of the project. According to him, Nvidia is responsible for developing the chip, while equipment manufacturers (OEMs) announce final products based on this technology. All Nvidia partners will be able to offer models with the solution, without exclusivity for any brand.

The price has not yet been defined. Asked about the price range in the Brazilian market, the director explained that each manufacturer decides its own positioning strategy. At least eight brands have already confirmed their participation: Acer, Asus, Lenovo, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Microsoft and MSI. Dell told Tecnoblog that it will bring the Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition to the country, although without specific dates or prices.

Nvidia prepares entry into notebook market

The development of the RTX Spark marks Nvidia’s entry into a very competitive segment, which gained new contours recently with the launch of the MacBook Neo. The Apple model stands out for its praised design and the combination of hardware that suits most users. The device has already appeared in promotions and was found for around R$5,300.

The approaches, however, are different. According to Aguiar, Nvidia’s superchip was created with a specific focus on artificial intelligence. “We want to show the market the potential of our platform.” The MacBook Neo uses a cell phone-derived processor, the A18 Pro present in the 2024 iPhone 16 Pro. “It wasn’t designed for that,” added the executive.
