The second trailer forSpider-Man: A New Dayleaked this week in high quality on social media, exposing never-before-seen scenes from the film that hits theaters on July 31, 2026.
The material, which Sony still planned to officially launch in the coming days, is circulating with the company’s watermark, but is already spreading quickly. Unlike the first leak, this version features sharp images and clear audio, revealing more about Peter Parker’s plot.
Scene with Bruce Banner addresses Peter’s mutations
A sequence shows a long conversation between Peter and Bruce Banner about repressing mutant DNA. The hero deals with Spider-Man-like physical evolutions that threaten his body, four years after the events of No Way Home.
Villain played by Sadie Sink gains prominence
The trailer features more scenes of Sadie Sink’s character, who demonstrates powers to freeze or control people’s minds, with the exception of Peter. Her red hair and abilities generate speculation among fans about a possible connection with Jean Gray from the X-Men, although her role as a major villain remains a mystery.
Sony has kept this character secret, something unusual for productions of this genre, where villains are often used as a decoy.
Peter rebuilds ties with MJ and Ned
Peter appears resuming his life alongside MJ and Ned. The friend investigates Spider-Man’s identity, and the hero needs to rebuild relationships from scratch, with no signs that the memory loss from the previous film has been reversed.
Savage Hulk and Punisher go into action
In terms of action, the long-awaited Wild Hulk appears, with Bruce Banner without the intelligent control seen in recent appearances. He breaks Peter’s webs and throws him with brute force.
Another sequence shows Peter seeking help from the Punisher, treated as one of the few remaining options for the hero in trouble.
The leak reinforces that the film expands the universe with crossovers, maintaining a focus on the personal consequences of Peter’s double life after No Way Home.
Director Destin Daniel Cretton helms the production, with Tom Holland reprising the lead role. Sony is expected to react to the leak by removing copies and possibly moving up the official release of the trailer.
