TV Globo defined the two main protagonists of the next six o’clock soap opera. Dira Paes will play Rosenda, while Carolina Dieckmann will play the current wife of the main character’s missing husband inThere in My Land.

The plot, written by Mario Teixeira with artistic direction by Allan Fiterman, is scheduled to premiere on November 9, 2026 and will replaceThe Nobility of Love. The story follows the journey of Rosenda, a strong woman from the backlands who decides to go to São Paulo after her husband, who left years before promising a better life and never heard from her again.

Upon arriving in the capital of São Paulo, Rosenda discovers that her partner has built a new family. From there the central conflict arises: the dispute between the two women, which involves themes such as abandonment, family honor and the future of the four children that Rosenda raised alone.

Conflict promises to mark the six o’clock band

The clash between Dira Paes and Carolina Dieckmann forms the dramatic core of the production. Rosenda represents the abandoned woman who fights for a fresh start and justice, while Dieckmann’s character lives the other side of the story, with an already established life in the big city.

This dynamic of “two wives” and intertwined families explores classic soap opera dilemmas, such as betrayal, overcoming and the impacts of emotional abandonment, but with a contemporary approach linked to migration from the countryside to large centers.

Important returns for the cast

Dira Paes, who was recently inThree Graces, gives up a longer period of rest to take on the main role. Carolina Dieckmann, who finished recordingThe Journey: The Movieas a protagonist, marks his return to daily soap operas after a period without exclusivity with the network.

Mario Teixeira’s partnership with Allan Fiterman has already yielded good results in the track, with plots that mix country drama, humor and light social criticism, as inSertão Sea e In Rancho Fundo.
