During an episode of Goldstein’s podcast, “Films To Be Buried With,” the award-winning “Ted Lasso” actor asked Lopez which “movie she found exciting but wasn’t sure if she should watch.”
Without hesitation, Lopez nominated “True Romance,” the landmark 1993 drama directed by Tony Scott and scripted by Quentin Tarantino. The artist highlighted the stellar cast and the elements that made each of the actors irresistibly attractive, culminating in their boldest reveal.
“First, we have Christian Slater, who plays a record store employee with hallucinations of Elvis, played by Val Kilmer. Then there is Patricia Arquette, who is simply impeccable as the kind-hearted prostitute, the sweetest there is, isn’t she? And we also have his father, Dennis Hopper, and Christopher Walken”, began Lopez, detailing his impressions of the film.
Continuing the cast description, the star added: “I mean, honestly, because of this movie, I have a picture of Dennis Hopper at home. Then there’s Brad Pitt. There’s also James Gandolfini as a hit man. Brad Pitt is a stoner, and the other one is a corrupt cop: Gary Oldman as the Rastafarian.”
Lopez then made a surprising confession, stating, “I would have gone to bed with any of them.” Goldstein reacted with a loud laugh in response to the statement.
