A new wave of promising titles has been announced for Xbox Game Pass, promising to further increase the subscription price for millions of gamers. From mid-June, the platform will receive major additions such as EA Sports FC 26 and Call of Duty Vanguard, as well as other notable experiences that will join the catalog on consoles, PC and cloud. The constant updating of the collection reinforces Microsoft’s service proposal on the global gaming scene.

Main additions that enrich the platform’s collection

The highly anticipated football simulator EA Sports FC 26 will make its debut on Game Pass on June 18, becoming available on all platforms that support the service. The inclusion of this big name from Electronic Arts is a significant event for virtual sports fans, guaranteeing access to the latest edition of one of the most popular franchises in the world. This move highlights Game Pass’ ability to bring third-party AAA games to its subscribers.

Shortly after, the acclaimed shooter series Call of Duty will have its representative, Vanguard, entering the catalog on June 20th. Action fans will be able to immerse themselves in intense World War II combat scenarios, with a cinematic campaign and competitive multiplayer modes. The addition of another Activision Blizzard title continues the process of integrating the big names of the company acquired by Microsoft.

Deepening Starfield’s narrative with new expansion

In addition to new games, Microsoft is investing in expanding its own universes with the arrival of Starfield: Shattered Space on June 18. This is the first major expansion for Bethesda Game Studios’ acclaimed space RPG, promising new stories, locations and challenges. The availability of such substantial DLC for one of its most important exclusives within the service reinforces the commitment to long-term content.

The inclusion of an expansion of this size directly into Game Pass highlights a strategy to keep players engaged with existing titles, extending the lifespan of its main franchises. This shows that the service does not just focus on fresh releases, but also on evolving and deepening the experiences already offered to its subscribers.

Other experiences joining the catalog in June

Still in June, other relevant games will complement the selection for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. On June 17, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, a roguelite spin-off of the popular cooperative mining game, arrives on PC and cloud, offering a new perspective for fans of the franchise.

Later, on June 25, players will be able to venture into the sea depths of Another Crab’s Treasure. This title is an engaging adventure game that will be accessible on Console, PC and Cloud, promising a unique journey. To close out the month, SteamWorld Heist II will make its debut on June 27th for Console and PC, bringing a new dose of turn-based strategy with a robotic pirate theme.

Impact of additions to the Xbox Game Pass offering

The constant incorporation of major releases such as EA Sports FC 26 and Call of Duty Vanguard, alongside significant expansions such as Starfield: Shattered Space and other independent games, solidifies the position of Xbox Game Pass. The service remains one of the most attractive options for players looking for a vast library for a fixed monthly price.

This strategy not only attracts new users but also retains current subscribers by offering a continuous stream of high-quality and varied content. Genre diversity and the inclusion of high-caliber titles are crucial to maintaining Game Pass’s relevance in the competitive subscription gaming market.
