Wanessa Camargo recently ended a season as presenter of TVZ, on Multishow, alongside Gominho. The singer, who already had experience in the role, detailed the challenge of leading a live program for the first time.

— It was surprising to discover how much I like live. This format brings an adrenaline rush that doesn’t exist in any other format. You need to be present, connected to everything and ready for any situation. It was a very special experience. I love music, so being connected to new releases, artists and the public on a daily basis was really enjoyable. And Gominho was an incredible partner. We created a very natural, light and fun tune, which I think reached the public.

The experience was so positive that, when asked about the possibility of a new season, Wanessa did not hesitate to show interest in continuing with the project.

— I loved doing the program. It was such a rich experience for me that, if they let me, I would continue for a long time to come.

It is not new that Wanessa demonstrates her ability as a communicator on television. In addition to her recent stint on TVZ live, she has already presented Jovens Tardes, on Globo, and acted as a judge on several programs. The artist commented on whether she intends to combine her careers as a singer and presenter and what she would like to address in a possible program of her own.

— I’m a singer and that will never change, but I discovered a passion for communication. It’s a universe that attracts me a lot. I can’t say anything about new projects yet, but I’m open to new opportunities. I really like talking about behavior, human relationships, self-knowledge. These are subjects that are part of my life today. Of course, music will always be present, but I would love to explore other conversations as well.

When asked what is more difficult, interviewing or being interviewed, Wanessa was direct.

— Being interviewed (laughs). When you interview, the attention is on the other person. When you are interviewed, you end up exposing yourself more, talking about your emotions, your life. This requires a different vulnerability.

With more than 25 years on the road in music, the artist says she is experiencing a period of reconstruction and expansion. She pointed out the main difference compared to the beginning of her career.

— The main difference is maturity. Today I know myself much better, I have less need for approval and more confidence to be who I am, with my qualities and imperfections. I have allowed myself to experience new things, opening up opportunities that I might not have seen a few years ago.

This new phase also brings a relationship. Wanessa has been dating actor Bruno Bevan for around five months. She explained how the couple became close.

— We met by chance, at a party, and there was a very natural and beautiful connection. From then on, we got to know each other without rushing and everything happened in a very natural and genuine way. The best stories are like this when things happen naturally. We are happy and building this story together.

The singer, who was previously married to businessman Marcus Buaiz, spoke about the possibility of a new marriage.

— Today I learned not to make too many rigid plans for life. I’m living a happy, light phase and I believe that things happen at the right time. I’m not ruling anything out, but I’m not in a rush either.

Just over a year ago, Wanessa’s family welcomed little Clara, her younger sister, daughter of Zezé Di Camargo and Graciele Lacerda. In addition to being a sister, she is also the baby’s godmother. The artist described the relationship between the two.

— It’s delicious. Clara brought a very special energy to the whole family. As a sister and godmother, I follow her growth with lots of love. It’s very beautiful to be able to live this bond and participate in important moments in her life.
