Cruzeiro’s board of directors advanced the procedures to complete the departure of player Kaiki. He is expected to go to Como, an Italian club, through an initial loan with a mandatory buyout clause. The agreement provides for the athlete to remain with the Italian team until June 2027.

This period of temporary assignment will involve a cost of 2 million euros, which is equivalent to approximately R$11.8 million. After the end of the loan contract, Como will have to pay another 14 million euros, around R$82.6 million, to acquire the left-back permanently.

Therefore, the complete transaction by the player can reach the amount of 16 million euros, equivalent to R$94.4 million at the current price. The consolidated value includes both the initial loan fee and the value of the definitive acquisition, guaranteeing a long-term contract with the Italian team after the purchase.

Negotiations with Como have faced moments of uncertainty recently, almost making the deal unviable. An impasse related to the payment of commissions and gloves was the main obstacle. However, this issue was resolved this Friday, the 19th.

In addition to the interest from the Spanish club Betis, the player Kaiki had been experiencing difficulties in renewing his contract with Cruzeiro. Given this scenario, the celestial board chose to proceed with the athlete’s transfer at the beginning of the second half of 2026.
