Samsung has officially started development of its new user interface, One UI 9.0, aimed at the Galaxy S24 FE model. This movement follows the same line of work already undertaken for other devices in the Galaxy S24 line, demonstrating the company’s speed in updating its portfolio.
Confirmation of the advance came with the detection of a specific firmware version, S721BXXUCEZF7, on the company’s servers. This finding validates that tests are effectively taking place for the global version of the smartphone, indicating that the launch is approaching.

The next One UI 9 will be based on Android 17, and with that, it will bring several innovative features from the new operating system. Among the expected new features are “bubbles” to manage applications more fluidly, security reinforcements against malicious software and an improved gaming mode for devices with a folding screen, significantly improving the user experience on several fronts.
