Liam Payne’s $28 million inheritance will go entirely to his son, court documents confirm
Bear Gray Payne, son of the late Liam Payne, former member of the group One Direction, has been officially designated as the sole heir to the artist’s considerable fortune.
Revelations in new court documents indicate that the singer’s assets are valued at around US$28 million, which is equivalent to approximately R$140 million at current prices.
The legal records, accessed by the website TMZ, detail that Bear Gray Payne, who is 9 years old, will receive his entire paternal inheritance. The boy is the result of Payne’s relationship with singer Cheryl Tweedy.
While a portion of the funds can be used while Bear is still a minor, the majority of the money will be managed by a trust fund and can only be fully accessed once he reaches the age of majority at 18.
