RedMagic has released new performance data for the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, offering a preview of the device’s potential for the gaming public before its official launch in China. Scheduled to arrive on June 30, the company highlighted impressive results in game tests, suggesting a fluid experience for users. For competitive players, the ability to maintain high and stable frame rates is essential, directly impacting agility and response in intense matches.
In tests shared by the company, the tablet achieved an average of 184 frames per second (fps) in the CrossFire game, with the minimum recorded at 168 fps. Similarly, in the title Delta Force, the device demonstrated robust performance, reaching an average of 165 fps and a minimum of 157 fps, demonstrating its ability to run demanding games with consistency.
These numbers indicate that the device is capable of delivering high performance and stability even during prolonged gaming sessions, a crucial feature for the gaming public.
RedMagic also reported that the tablet maintained 60 fps stably in an open-world game, but chose not to reveal the name of the title used in the demonstration.
A significant part of this impressive performance is attributed to the synergy between the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and the proprietary Core R4 coprocessor. This secondary component takes responsibility for more intensive functions, such as advanced thermal management and precise latency control, ensuring that the device operates at its maximum capacity without overheating or delays.
In addition to the internal processing capacity, the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro integrates a 9.06-inch OLED screen with 2.4K resolution.
The display offers a refresh rate of 185 Hz, providing smoother images, and a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits, ensuring clear visibility even in bright environments.
It now remains to wait for the 30th to arrive so that the first impartial analyzes of the device are published. Only then will it be possible to have a complete dimension of how powerful and effective the RedMagic tablet proves to be in practice, validating the manufacturer’s preliminary data.
