AGIBOT celebrates the milestone of 15 thousand robots and consolidates its leadership in embedded artificial intelligence
AGIBOT Innovation Technology Co. revealed its 15,000th robot has rolled off the assembly line. This milestone symbolizes a significant advance for the company, which moves from the validation and batch production phase to the large-scale implementation of embedded artificial intelligence systems.
Dr. Yao Maoqing, partner and senior vice president of AGIBOT, emphasized that the arrival of the 15,000th robot is more than a productive achievement. For him, the launch demonstrates the company’s mass production capacity and reflects a clear sector direction for implementation in real environments.
The executive highlighted that, with the industry migrating from the proof-of-concept phase to practical applications, AGIBOT will dedicate itself to expanding the presence of its robots in different contexts. The goal is to drive the industrialization of embedded artificial intelligence through large-scale deliveries and deployments.
Founded in 2023, AGIBOT has been dedicated to creating fundamental models and robotic implementations essential to bringing general intelligence to the physical environment. The Shanghai-based company integrates locomotion, interaction and manipulation into a single system through its “Three Intelligences in One” architecture. Its portfolio includes humanoid and quadruped robots, dexterity systems and commercial cleaning solutions.
Remarkable growth in the manufacturing of AGIBOT robots
The company had already reported a significant increase in its production capacity. It took approximately 12 months to expand manufacturing from one thousand to five thousand robotic units. At an even faster pace, the transition from five thousand to ten thousand robots occurred in just three months, demonstrating a quadrupling in production speed.

This impressive acceleration was maintained until the 15,000 unit mark was reached. The robot that symbolized this milestone was an AGIBOT G2 model, a mobile manipulator equipped with wheels, torso and arms that resemble a humanoid shape, developed for applications in industrial environments.
AGIBOT declared that the production of its 15,000th robot transcends the mere quantity manufactured. This achievement represents the consolidation of comprehensive capabilities, which include product development, supply chain organization, manufacturing standardization, execution of engineering projects and effective implementation in the workplace.
To take embedded artificial intelligence from the production stage to use in real scenarios, the company highlighted the need for integrated capabilities. This involves everything from robot body design and complete system manufacturing to software and hardware integration, adaptation for specific applications and field implementation. Sustaining production at such a scale, according to AGIBOT, requires robust product development, reliable supply, standardized manufacturing processes and the ability to deliver the robots in diverse work environments.

AGIBOT G2 robot demonstrates the effectiveness of embedded artificial intelligence
In a practical test, the AGIBOT G2 accumulated approximately one hundred hours of operation in factory live broadcasts at the end of June. The robot performed quality inspections on tablets, following the rhythm of the production line, and interacted continuously with workers.

AGIBOT also promoted a World Challenge, in collaboration with ICRA, aiming to showcase the potential of AI models to optimize industrial tasks in robotics. Other companies, such as Agility, Boston Dynamics, Figure AI and Humanoid, are also moving forward with commercial trials of humanoid robots.
AGIBOT’s leadership in the sector is corroborated by data from Omdia, a market research company. In 2025, AGIBOT reached the first global position in shipments of humanoid robots, totaling 5,168 units and achieving a 39% share of the global market. AGIBOT itself reinforces that its cutting edge in embedded AI ranges from volume deliveries to continuous production and consistent implementation in real environments.
AGIBOT assesses that competition in the robotics segment goes beyond isolated demonstrations or proofs of concept, now focusing on scale production, delivery of large batches and effective application in everyday life. With the increasing insertion of robots in industrial, commercial and service sectors, the ability to maintain production and deployment in large volumes will be a fundamental criterion for measuring the level of industrialization of companies.
